say what!!! saved $63.87 on MILANI cosmetics from CVS

yep you read the title right!!!
i saved $63.87 on Milani Cosmetics from CVS
since i am currently unemployed i am always looking for a bargain
i went to CVS to get paper towels/toilet paper because they have a deal where you get $10 CVS cash when you spend $30 on certain products.
i always stop in the makeup section just because there are always deals that are not advertised (a lot of makeup products are usually 75% off, just have to look for the sticker) , the deal that they had advertised was buy 1 get 1 50% off and i planned to get something to go towards the $30 needed to get the $10 CVS cash.
i have never purchased Milani cosmetics before although i always look at their products and heard great things about this drugstore brand. i found this the perfect opportunity to test out the brand.
i was in shock when i saw:
nail polish for $1.17, saving $3.52 (purchased 4)
liquid eyeliner for $1.75, saving $5.24 (purchased 1)
bronzer for $1.62, saving $4.87 (purchased 1)
single eyeshadow for $1.75, saving $5.24 (purchased 4)
fashion eyeshadow/6 colors for $2.25, saving $6.74 (purchased 2)
blush for $1.75, saving $5.24 (purchased 1)
total amount paid for the 13 products: $21.30

here are the 13 products together
Infinite Liquid Eyeliner in 03 Eternal
#09 Caribbean Sea & #10 Blue Lagoon
#04 Coffee Shop & #08 Shamrock
02 Fashionista Pinks & 08 Catwalk
08 Catwalk
02 Fashionista Pinks
37 Black Magic, 29 Good Morning Sunshine, 19 Breezy, 101 Lemongello
Mineral Blush #202 Sunset Beach & Powder Bronzer #02 Medium

single shadows, used LA Splash eyeshadow base (used Visine (eye drops) to make shadows wet)
no primer/dry

flash/no primer/dry (Fashionista Pinks)
liquid eyeliner in Eternal

flash/no primer/dry (Catwalk)

*my thoughts*
i am pretty impressed with how pigmented the shadows are,
the single shadows dry with no primer was not as pigmented but when a base is used and is used wet the color pay off is amazing.
the mini palette with 6 shadows seemed to have better color pay off then the single shadows when dry and no primer.
the blush was a nice natural looking color.
the bronzer seemed to work well with my skin tone but i didn't take a pic
i will do a full look using these products in another post, be on the look out =)
i have yet to try the nail polish because i just did my nails the other night but i will do a post on that as well.
i liked the color of the liquid eyeliner but i am not a fan of the flimsy brush, i like the brush to to stiff.
i am overall satisfied with my Milani purchase.
who wouldn't be satisfied on saving $63.87 on such great products!!!

have you tried Milani products? what do you think of them?
