halloween2012 (late post)

i know HALLOWEEN was last month but i have not had the chance to update my blog or share any photos with you all.  here are 2 of the halloween costumes i did this year.  i did MINNIE MOUSE for the costume party my KIDS had at school (i work at a school age center part time & i call the kids at my school "my kids").  then i was a kitty for HALLOWEEN day when i went TRICK of TREATING with my son & some friends. i also thought it was cute to just tie a bandana around your head & call yourself a "thug" for halloween, if you didn't have a costume ;)

i have been OBSESSED with headbands & head jewelry for a long time.

i youtube'd this DIY headpiece.

i bought the chain from Michael's for maybe about $5.

I just cut the pieces to fit the size of my head.

i think i did a good job on it ;)

so it has been almost a YEAR since i have posted on here...

i wanted to BLOG everyday but LIFE happened & i barely had time to do anything.

my life has changed so much in a YEAR. 

i am going to try to post more on here since i don't really go on Facebook anymore.

i came up with this back when myspace was where it was at :p 

my last name is Cotton (my married name)

and i thought cotton candy thats a cute nick name,  i am really into makeup and getting all dolled up and i thought hmmm, cotton eye candy

but i don't like the way the word eye looks so i just replaced it with I.

i think its cute.

one day i want my own cosmetic line called "cottonIcandy"

i don't want to be a makeup artist because i DONT like putting makeup on other people, and honestly i am not that great at it.  i haven't had much practice putting makeup on other people but i do get a lot of compliments on my makeup.  i want to someday help with those organizations that help people with cancer, the ones that makeover women who have cancer and help them feel good about themselves, even if it is just for an evening.  i always thought that was an amazing organization and someday i hope to contribute to that cause.

i really don't know how i can get involved in that but i still believe in my dreams and know that they will come true.

Kiss Nail Dress
